According to Wikipedia, Every CRS Report, The New Yorker, & USAFacts, 31,630 individuals received asylum from the US in 2023 with the top nationalities being from: Afghanistan, Venezuela, China, Turkey, & Egypt. Also in 2023, 945,370 asylum applications were received (an 88% increase from the previous year). These applications were received from Venezuelans (98,680), Cubans (78,620), Colombians (38,050), Nicaraguans (34,600), & Haitians (30,030).

Sudan holds the statistic for the largest number for internally displaced peoples globally with over 9 million internally uprooted.
