About the event
Please join us on May 4, 2024 for a special ten-year-anniversary celebration of The Welcome Network! We are delighting in the past ten years of serving immigrants and their families in NW Indiana and South Chicago, and we're dreaming of ten more years to welcome the stranger.
The Welcome Network began in 2014 with a legal clinic for immigrants, and now we have been able to resettle many immigrant families, help families apply for asylum, and provide temporary housing for many families. Now, we are looking ahead to the future as we work to sustain our existing programs, and also expand into new opportunities.
Our event will include time to get to know The Welcome Network staff and a delicious family-style dinner. The presentation will feature a special guest speaker, Wes Willison, who will share about the importance of place. We will also hear some immigrant stories, and there…
