Surveys indicated that 9 in 10 churchgoers have not heard a sermon on the topic of loving immigrants. Similarly, almost 9 in 10 evangelical Christians say that their views on immigration come from their experience or political beliefs, not from the Bible.
Working in cooperation with the Evangelical Immigration Table, the Chicagoland Immigrant Welcome Network seeks to make local church members and church leaders aware of the needs of immigrants and refugees, and the need for comprehensive changes in our nation's immigration approach.
